Rotary District 7490 Provides Hurricane Relief

Asbury Park Rotarians were called to action on Nov. 10, 2012 when District 7490 Governor Bonnie Sirower drove down from North Jersey with a truck load of much-needed supplies for the Lutheran Atonement Church's food pantry in   Asbury Park.  The response to  Hurricane Sandy depleted their reserves and Rotarians, as usual, were there to help.  Asbury Park Rotarians unloaded the truck and helped to set up for a clothing distribution in the church auditorium.  Rotarians Penny McDaniel, club president and Dr. Amy Peardon coordinated the effort.  Another example of Rotary in action.
