We were delighted and honored to welcome District Governor Diane Rotondelli to our club on August 2, 2017.  She presented us with the Rotary banner highlighting this year’s theme “Rotary Making a Difference”, and then shared with us the many ways in which a Rotarian makes a difference.  She pointed out that while clubs provide friendships and fellowship, the focus on service to our communities is primary.  Our community in Asbury Park and in the world.

New this year there is the Four-Way Test Contest and DG Diane shared stories of how that test has changed lives.

Her emphasis for the year is “Adopt a Veteran” and we have been charged to make a difference in the life of a veteran before the end of year. DG Diane’s enthusiasm is contagious and will no doubt motivate new programs during her tenure.
