We welcomed Christine Tesoriero who is the House Administrator at the St. Claire House for Children located in Neptune NJ.  One of three locations (the others in Elizabeth and Jersey City), these homes provide transitional housing for medically fragile children.  Initially established for children removed from their homes and diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, the homes are now open to children with autism and childhood cancer as well.  Referred by DCP&P, from which they receive their funding, the homes can accommodate five children aged infant to 13 years old.  During their stay at the home, the children are supported physically and emotionally while biological, foster and adoptive parents are offered training, guidance and support.  To learn more about the programs of AIDS Resource Foundation for Children, visit their website, www.aidsresource.org.  Volunteers are needed and welcomed.
