Celia Cattani, the Founder of Community Karma joined us for the July 1st meeting. She came to discuss their upcoming backpack campaign, where their goal is to supply 1500 backpacks to the numerous children in the area.
Community Karma is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children and families in the greater Asbury Park area through two annual programs: The Backpack Drive and the Holiday Toy Drive.
The Asbury Park Rotary Club has been a long time supporter of Community Karma's mission.
